For more than five years, our volunteer organization has been encouraging more girls to develop an interest in aviation through early introduction and participation in specialized presentations in educational and aviation based venues. Our goal at Girls With Wings, Inc., is to nurture self confidence and motivate young girls to pursue various aviation careers later in life with community outreach and public awareness efforts.

Your purchase from our pilot shop will help us to continue all of our activities found on our website, www.GirlsWithWings.com. While some may view one of our products as just a t-shirt, we believe that it is in fact a statement about the potential of girls to be intimately connected with Aviation (and other Science, Technology, Engineering and Math based fields) from the time they are born. To this end, all profits from the sale of merchandise are invested in developments to our educational program and scholarships.

As you look around the store you will see that the Girls With Wings™ line offers clothing and other items for girls of all ages; the rarely found aircraft themed items designed to let everyone know “Yes, Girls Can Fly!™” It's a cute slogan, to be sure, but what a message to give our girls:

I wanted to share a little anecdote from my daughter who is so proud to be a Girls With Wings crewmember.... She was acting up the other day and I blurted out "Daniela, Girls With Wings do not act that way - they are good girls!" And she started walking around the house saying loudly, "Girls With Wings do not whine, Girls With Wings do not shout at their mommies", etc...saying everything I had been correcting her for! It has worked like a charm since - I just bring up that she's a Girl With Wings and she changes her behavior! What a great side benefit to the membership! - Sheila

You may note that some items will not be available in a certain size or color and that is because at Girls With Wings we don't do quantity, we do quality! Our organization has been formed for a philanthopic mission, so we do not have the means to store excess inventory. Moreover, our goal is to provide the highest quality products at the most reasonable price at which we can afford to sell them. If our items meet our exacting standards, they will meet yours. You can rest assured that anything you purchase here will make you happy twice over. First, because the items are supercute. Second, the funds raised here will make our volunteer organizations efforts possible.
